Inspired Rat Poem By Diane Yoder
I’m just a rat hanging with my beer, having a cigarette cause I’ve got nothing to fear…I’m wise to their poisons, and I’ve figured out their traps. Guess I’ll just sit here and take a little nap! My buddies are swinging and holding sewer raves, I got nothing to lose and a little trash to raid
later I’ll jump into a stroller and hook a little ride
Alongside a baby to the Upper West Side…
